محبت کی کہانی ہے مجھے تم یاد آتے ہو
مری آنکھوں میں پانی ہے مجھے تم یاد آتے ہو

وہاں بھی مست آنکھوں میں مری دنیا کے پنچھی ہیں
یہاں بھی رت سہانی ہے مجھے تم یاد آتے ہو

یہاں دریا کنارے پر سبھی مخمور ہیں منظر
فضا میں لن ترانی ہے مجھے تم یاد آتے ہو

مرے نایاب شعروں میں تمہارا ذکر ہے شامل
مرے فن پر جوانی ہے مجھے تم یاد آتے ہو

یہ کیا ہے سامنے برزخ ، جفا کا کھولتا سورج
یا آفت آسمانی ہے مجھے تم یاد آتے ہو

تری وشمہ کے باغوں میں محبت کے گلابوں میں
سہانی شب کی رانی ہے مجھے تم یاد آتے ہو
